Quentin is one of our co-founders and is an integral part of DMC Medical Centre. Quentin has worked at DMC since our doors opened in 1992. Originally from New Zealand, Dr Cameron completed Medicine at the University of Otago in 1982. He spent a further 2 years in the hospital system before going on to pass his Family Medicine exams and complete his Diploma of Obstetrics. He moved to Australia in 1989 and co-founded DMC in January 1992. His professional interests are paediatrics, women’s health including antenatal shared care, and minor procedures.

Our Medical Director – Joe – is committed to providing the highest calibre of care for all of our patients. Joe is Sydney born and bred and graduated from Sydney University in 1989. He trained at Westmead Hospital, and completed the family medicine programme prior to commencing at DMC. Joe has been working as a General Practitioner since 1992 and completed the Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1994. He graduated with a Master of Medical Science, in Clinical Epidemiology, and has served as a board director of the Central Sydney Division of General Practice. He is committed to continual quality improvement of health care services, such as DMC. He thanks you for your support over the years and welcomes new patients to the practice.

One of our original GPs, Peter has been a Doctor at DMC since 1996. Peter completed Medicine at Sydney University in 1989 and has worked in various Sydney hospitals including the Sydney Children’s Hospital, as well as one year working in the UK. He became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1996. His medical interests involve all aspects of family medicine, antenatal care, paediatrics and diving medicals.

Prior to DMC, Dr Gambrill worked as a GP in his practice in Rozelle for over 29 years. He has a Degree in Medicine, a Doctorate in Medicine and is a Fellow of the Royal College of General Practitioners.

Kim graduated from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the UK in 2001.  Since moving to Australia she has gained broad clinical experience including emergency, paediatrics,  drug and alcohol medicine and palliative care; training in Gosford, Concord and Westmead Children’s Hospitals.   She is currently still working as an Emergency medicine registrar at Concord Hospital.  She joined the GP training program in 2015 and is loving the broad nature of general practice, completing her training part-time whilst caring for her young twins.   She particularly enjoys mental health, paediatrics and womens’ health.

Jeremy graduated from University of NSW in 1996 and completed his internship at Wollongong Hospital. He then completed his residency at St Vincent’s Hospital. He also completed terms at The Royal Hospital for Women and Sydney Children’s Hospital. Since then Jeremy has worked at General Practice Casualty at Balmain Hospital, then in medical practices in Burwood, Nimbin, & Haberfield. Since 2005 Dr Kong has been working in a medical practice in Cronulla. Outside of Medicine Dr Kong is a proud father of two young sons who keep him busy! He also has many interests including music, travel, and playing sport – bushwalking, canyoning, and surfing. Dr Kong has an interest in travel medicine, paediatrics, men’s health, preventative and comprehensive family medicine. Dr Kong also regularly works as a surgical assistant for a number of surgeons in Sydney.

Ali graduated from The University of Ankara-Medical Faculty, Ankara, Turkey and worked at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital from 2001 and has been working as a General Practitioner in Sydney since 2003. He has worked in few practices in the Inner West – most recently at Croydon Medical Centre. He completed the Fellowship for the Royal Australia College of General Practitioners in 2003. Dr Kutlu has an interest in mental health, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, travel medicine and general family practice.

Dr Low completed her medical degree at University of Newcastle in 2003 and completed her residencies at Westmead Hospital and Blacktown Hospital. She worked at a rural practice in 2007 and since then has worked at a number of practices in the inner west, most recently at Gladesville. Nina’s interests are paediatrics, and family medicine.

Dr Marr has worked in Rozelle for the last 29 years. He has special interests in General Practice Medicine, Public Health Medicine and Travel Medicine. Dr Marr was influential in advancing Public Health in Australia through the introduction of Medicare and has served as a Commissioner for the Health Insurance Commission.

Dr Matt Masterson is a full-time GP at DMC Medical Centre, and School Doctor for The Kings School in North Parramatta.

Dr Masterson has a particular expertise in minor surgery to correct ingrown toenails and minor surgery to remove skin lesions. He also has extensive experience in all aspects of general practice including skin cancer checks, sporting and workplace injuries, chronic disease management, mental health, travel medicine, men’s health, child health and all aspects of women’s health including antenatal care, contraceptive advice, Mirena insertion, Mirena removal, implanon insertion and implanon removal. Dr Masterson also offers tailored general health check-ups to all patients that wish to obtain optimal health and prevent chronic disease.

Having completed medical training at The University of Adelaide in 2010, and Internship/Residency at St George Hospital Sydney, Dr Masterson then undertook a further 2 years of training in General Practice in Nowra and Wollongong with a particular focus on minor skin surgery. In 2014 Dr Masterson was awarded Fellowship to the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and commenced working at DMC Medical Centre.

Lara graduated in 1983 from the University of Sydney with honours and also holds a Diploma of Child Health and a Graduate Diploma of Public Health. She also has postgraduate training in mental health. She has spent nearly 30 years working in general practice and has a special interest in child health, women’s health, preventative medicine and aged care. Dr Mihaljevic also works part time at the Inner West Sydney Medicare Local as a clinical editor on the Health Pathways project (a web based portal for GPs providing evidence based information on disease management of patients). Lara is married with 2 children aged 13 and 15.

Theresa completed her medical degree at the University of NSW in 1992. She completed her internship at St George Hospital, and Royal Alexandra Hospital for Children. She has since worked at a number of practices in Sydney and most recently at Rhodes since 2008. She has a Diploma of Child Health and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has an interest in paediatrics, women’s health, antenatal shared care, mental health, and travel medicine. Theresa also has an interest in preventative medicine and health coaching, including health checks and assistance with weight reduction, smoking cessation, and stress management.

Linda is an integral member of the medical team at DMC, and joined our practice in 2007. Dr Pope obtained her medical degrees and Master of Paediatrics in the 1980s from the University of New South Wales. Having completed 5 years hospital training including over 3 years at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Linda went into general practice in Sydney’s inner west. Linda enjoys helping people work towards good health outcomes, with special interests in paediatric medicine, women’s health and psychological medicine in children and adults.

Katrina is an important part of the medical team at DMC, and has worked here since 1999. Katrina completed Medicine at University of Otago, New Zealand. She worked at Westmead Hospital and Westmead Children’s Hospital. She obtained her Diploma in Obstetrics and completed the Fellowship for the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in Melbourne prior to her return to Sydney. She is interested in all aspects of family medicine and general health care including women’s health and antenatal shared care.

Fiona is responsible for the general management and direction of the centre, and is dedicated to upholding our practice philosophy, ensuring that DMC Medical Centre provides the highest quality of medical care to all of our patients in a friendly and caring environment. Fiona is a long standing member of the DMC team, joining our practice in 2002. She brings a wealth of primary health management experience to DMC, having worked in the health industry for over 20 years, and previously manager of a number of large medical centres in Sydney. She is a Fellow, Certified Practice Manager & the NSW/ACT State President of the Australian Association of Practice Management.  She was founder of and chair for 5 years of the Sydney Practice Managers Network, and regularly presents on Practice Management topics in Sydney and regional locations around NSW. Fiona is also an AGPAL accreditation co-surveyor, has served as advisor on a number of health advisory committees, and was previously a director on the board of the Central Sydney GP Network.

Our Practice Manager Belle has been a member of the DMC team since 2011 and is passionate about providing the highest quality of service and care for all of our patients. She is highly experienced in staffing supervision and customer service, and is an integral part of our practice. As our Practice Manager she is dedicated to ensuring the smooth running of practice including the reception team and all operations of the practice.

Since qualifying as a Registered Nurse in 1978 in the UK, Sue has worked in a wide variety of fields including midwifery, neurosurgery, general practice, family planning, and as a nurse for the film industry. Sue has been an integral member of the DMC team since 2006.

Caroline is a registered nurse and has an associate diploma in rehabilitation and counselling, and is an accredited nurse immuniser. She has previous experience in drug and sexual health nursing and has been working in General Practice for the past 7 years. Caroline is interested in preventative health and helping our patients improve their health outcomes, especially those with chronic disease. The CDM clinic philosophy is to keep our patient’s healthy and out of hospital.
