Quentin is one of our co-founders and is an integral part of DMC Medical Centre. Quentin has worked at DMC since our doors opened in 1992. Originally from New Zealand, Dr Cameron completed Medicine at the University of Otago in 1982. He spent a further 2 years in the hospital system before going on to pass his Family Medicine exams and complete his Diploma of Obstetrics. He moved to Australia in 1989 and co-founded DMC in January 1992. His professional interests are paediatrics, women’s health (not antenatal shared care), and minor procedures.

Our Medical Director – Joe – is committed to providing the highest calibre of care for all of our patients. Joe is Sydney born and bred and graduated from Sydney University in 1989. He trained at Westmead Hospital, and completed the family medicine programme prior to commencing at DMC. Joe has been working as a General Practitioner since 1992 and completed the Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1994. He graduated with a Master of Medical Science, in Clinical Epidemiology, and has served as a board director of the Central Sydney Division of General Practice. He is committed to continual quality improvement of health care services, such as DMC. He thanks you for your support over the years and welcomes new patients to the practice.

One of our original GPs, Peter has been a Doctor at DMC since 1996. Peter completed Medicine at Sydney University in 1989 and has worked in various Sydney hospitals including the Sydney Children’s Hospital, as well as one year working in the UK. He became a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1996. His medical interests involve all aspects of family medicine, antenatal care, paediatrics and diving medicals.

Sarah completed her Combined Bachelor of Medical Science and Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery (B. Med Sci, MBBS) at the University of Sydney in 2014.

She has since worked at St Vincent’s Hospital and Wagga Wagga Bass Hospital, before staring general practice, during which she gained a wide experience in different areas of medicine – including paediatrics, obstetrics, psychiatry, general surgery and rural emergency medicine. Sarah has special interests in Paediatrics and Women’s health – namely contraception, fertility, shared care and menopause and has completed further studies in these areas including the Sydney Children’s Health Program (previously Diploma of Childs Health) and National Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health with Family Planning NSW (FPAA). She is also a registered obstetric shared care practitioner with RPA and Concord hospital. 

Sarah will commence at DMC in May 2019, as a GP registrar completing her extended skills in Women’s Health.

Marjia completed her medical degree at Western Sydney University in 2015. Prior to commencing General Practice, she worked at both Concord Repatriation General Hospital and Broken Hill Base Hospital where she gained experience in areas such as Emergency Medicine, Paediatrics, Dermatology and Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Marjia enjoys all aspects of General Practice, with special interest in Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Sexual Health and Dermatology. She has since furthered her areas of interest with a Diploma of Child Health and is committed to ongoing improvement in knowledge and the holistic care of all her patients. Marjia commenced practice part time on Mondays and Wednesdays at DMC in August 2019.

We are delighted to announce that Dr Maria Kalyuga will be joining our DMC team in February 2020. Maria completed her medical training at the University of Sydney and has enjoyed working at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Balmain Hospital and Chris O’Brien Lifehouse, prior to entering General Practice. She has a background in cancer research and has earned a PhD from the Garvan Institute of Medical Research.
Maria has a special interest in women’s health, family planning, chronic disease management and preventative health. She is earning further qualifications through the National Certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health with Family Planning NSW (FPAA).

Monisha completed her Medical Degree at the University of Sydney in 2013. Before starting in General Practice she worked at Nepean Hospital where she gained experience in a variety of different areas including Paediatrics, Emergency, Cardiology, and Palliative Care.

Monisha enjoys all areas of General Practice, with a special interest in Travel Medicine, Paediatrics and Women’s Health. She has furthered her areas of interest with the Diploma of Child Health and Certificate of Reproductive and Sexual Health. She is committed to providing an evidence based approach to her medical practice.

Monisha is local to the area and has two young children. She will commence practice at DMC on the 10th of July 2019.

Jeremy graduated from University of NSW in 1996 and completed his internship at Wollongong Hospital. He then completed his residency at St Vincent’s Hospital. He also completed terms at The Royal Hospital for Women and Sydney Children’s Hospital. Since then Jeremy has worked at General Practice Casualty at Balmain Hospital, then in medical practices in Burwood, Nimbin, & Haberfield. Since 2005 Dr Kong has been working in a medical practice in Cronulla. Outside of Medicine Dr Kong is a proud father of two young sons who keep him busy! He also has many interests including music, travel, and playing sport – bushwalking, canyoning, and surfing. Dr Kong has an interest in travel medicine, paediatrics, men’s health, preventative and comprehensive family medicine. Dr Kong also regularly works as a surgical assistant for a number of surgeons in Sydney.

Ali graduated from The University of Ankara-Medical Faculty, Ankara, Turkey and worked at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital from 2001 and has been working as a General Practitioner in Sydney since 2003. He has worked in few practices in the Inner West – most recently at Croydon Medical Centre. He completed the Fellowship for the Royal Australia College of General Practitioners in 2003. Dr Kutlu has an interest in mental health, cardiovascular disease, diabetes, travel medicine and general family practice.

Lucinda completed her training in 2014 at the University of Notre Dame Sydney and has since worked at both St Vincent’s Hospital Darlinghurst and Wagga Wagga Base Hospital. She feels comfortable seeing patients from all backgrounds and wants people of any gender or sexuality to feel welcome. Lucinda is the proud mother of a little boy and is happy to see children of all ages and welcomes teenagers alone or with their parents. Lucinda is comfortable with all aspects of general practice and has special interest in mental health, drug and alcohol issues and sexual health. She likes to practice holistic, preventative medicine, treating the whole person to encourage overall wellness.

Lucinda commenced as a staff member at DMC in August 2018, and is an employed registrar GP at our practice.

Lucinda is currently completing her final registrar term away from DMC and will return to DMC Medical Centre in February 2020.

Dr Marr worked in Rozelle for the last 29 years prior to commencing practice at DMC. He has special interests in General Practice Medicine, Public Health Medicine and Travel Medicine. Dr Marr was influential in advancing Public Health in Australia through the introduction of Medicare and has served as a Commissioner for the Health Insurance Commission.

Dr Matt Masterson is a full-time GP at DMC Medical Centre, and School Doctor for The Kings School in North Parramatta.

Dr Masterson has a particular expertise in minor surgery to correct ingrown toenails and minor surgery to remove skin lesions. He also has extensive experience in all aspects of general practice including skin cancer checks, sporting and workplace injuries, chronic disease management, mental health, travel medicine, men’s health, child health and all aspects of women’s health including antenatal care, contraceptive advice, Mirena insertion, Mirena removal, implanon insertion and implanon removal. Dr Masterson also offers tailored general health check-ups to all patients that wish to obtain optimal health and prevent chronic disease.

Having completed medical training at The University of Adelaide in 2010, and Internship/Residency at St George Hospital Sydney, Dr Masterson then undertook a further 2 years of training in General Practice in Nowra and Wollongong with a particular focus on minor skin surgery. In 2014 Dr Masterson was awarded Fellowship to the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and commenced working at DMC Medical Centre.

She also has postgraduate training in mental health. She has spent nearly 30 years working in general practice and has a special interest in child health, women’s health, preventative medicine and aged care. Dr Mihaljevic also works part time at the Inner West Sydney Medicare Local as a clinical editor on the Health Pathways project (a web based portal for GPs providing evidence based information on disease management of patients). Lara is married with 2 children aged 13 and 15.

Linda enjoys helping people work towards good health outcomes, with special interests in paediatric medicine, women’s health and psychological medicine in children and adults.

Fiona is responsible for the general management and direction of the centre, and is dedicated to upholding our practice philosophy, ensuring that DMC Medical Centre provides the highest quality of medical care to all of our patients in a friendly and caring environment. Fiona is a long standing member of the DMC team, joining our practice in 2002. She brings a wealth of primary health management experience to DMC, having worked in the health industry for over 20 years, and previously manager of a number of large medical centres in Sydney. She is a Fellow, Certified Practice Manager & the NSW/ACT State President of the Australian Association of Practice Management.  She was founder of and chair for 5 years of the Sydney Practice Managers Network, and regularly presents on Practice Management topics in Sydney and regional locations around NSW. Fiona is also an AGPAL accreditation co-surveyor, has served as advisor on a number of health advisory committees, and was previously a director on the board of the Central Sydney GP Network.
